A Steel Flooring System built by Australian Steel Framing is a smart, cost effective choice. Steel floor joists are lightweight yet strong and are easy to install.
A steel flooring system offers greater durability and strength than traditional timber joists and will provide further cost savings due to it’s resistance to pests such as termites and borers. Australian Steel Framing usually uses Bluescope’s TRUESCORE® Australian steel to manufacture your steel flooring system. However, we can also supply other flooring systems such as InfraBuild (One Steel), DuraGal Flooring System™ and SPANTEC Flooring which has adjustable Ezipier and Ezibrace systems.
Steel floor systems can be manufactured to a large span, this allows the number of internal load bearing walls and columns to be minimised allowing greater flexibility in the design of your building.
Steel floor joists will not bend and warp over time and they can withstand moisture, extreme weather events and pests. They are a smart, durable and cost effective flooring solution for your building.
We can also supply you with steel roof trusses and steel wall frames!

Steel subfloor system utilising DuragalPlus® tubular sections and fully galvanised fittings. DuraGal Flooring System™ is assembled on site and requires no welding. Simple screwed connections make construction fast and easy.
SPANTEC Boxspan®
SPANTEC Boxspan® kit floor system will save you time and money on site. Ideal for a designed kit deck, floor or roof system in conjunction with Ezipier® adjustable steel piers and Ezibrace® your sub-floor is complete.
